    Dear SalaMuzik team,

Thanks for all these great advices!
My parents offered me a Mansur ney (La), and i am just discovering this beautiful instrument… Starting to product sourds slowly.
The ney is amazingly beautiful, yet i have an issue: i feel the thumb hole is far away from the other holes to reach for my hands. I manage to reach them but at the moment I have to put a lot of tension in my hands to do it and it hurts. Is it normal and is it just a question of training or is it that this ney is too big for me..? I hope it’s not the case…

Thanks a lot for your help..!

    All the best,

    Marie
