It sounds amazing great guitar.

This is my second Oud. I purchased the first one for the same price and it simply wasn't as high of quality in a few regards. I'm a beginner with the Oud, but I play over a dozen instruments and also design virtual software instruments. That is too say, I'm not experienced enough to compare this broadly, but I have a good enough ear and enough experience to say if I like it personally.The finish on this is excellent. My other oud from a different company had several imperfections such as cracking glaze around the joints and minor cracks on the soundboard. This one had almost no imperfections, just a minor discoloration of the glaze in one inconspicuous place. 4.8 out of 5 on finish. It's really beautiful. The symmetry of all the sound holes and pickguard on the front isn't my favorite design, but you can see that in the photos and it's personal taste. The back looks superb, it really exceeds my expectations overall. It looks impressive.The sound really left nothing to be desired for me, it plays well, it sounds great. Good fret height, resonant, good sustain, fun to slide and pitch bend. 5 out of 5!The tuning is better than my first oud which basically would be off 1 to 2 semitones after sitting for a day. This one needs to be returned every few times I play it, potentially every day if I'm picky. From my reading, this is normal. I wish it was less. It's much more finicky than a basic guitar, but I suppose that's expected. I may try some peg compound on it to see if that improves anything. This is my only complaint, but I think it's to be expected. It does tune easily, so 4 out of 5.The carrying case it comes with is just thin fabric, no padding. It was packed in a nice form fitting styrofoam case that I've kept for transport. It included spare strings and risha (picks).Overall, I love this instrument, I play it daily, and the quality exceeded my expectations for the price. It also arrived early. 5 stars easily.I loved the sound of the oud for years but always thought it would be too difficult to learn and to find a good one. I've somehow found it more natural than guitar or cello to play (fret stickers help), and this one doesn't make me feel like I'll need to upgrade anytime in the foreseeable future.I don't often write reviews but this one was dear to me!

Since I’m a beginner, I’m trying to find an instrument that has excellent quality and within a reasonable price. This instrument checks all the points! Its quality is very good compared to others I tried. I highly recommend this product to anyone interested in playing Oud, whether you’re a beginner or a professional musician.

Buying an Oud online without listening to, playing, and seeing it "in person" was a unique experience for me, especially for an instrument I'll be using with the active Middle Eastern Music ensemble I perform with.After receiving and playing this I'm glad I did!Musicians know the importance of the feel of an instrument and this one has the perfect feel.It sounds absolutely amazing, and after playing it a while I realized it's also a beautiful instrument. The photos here of it on Amazon look quite good but really capturing an instrument's true being in a photograph is, in my view, impossible.Highly recommended.

Thanks for the Oud love the color and sound.I wasn’t happy with finishing, In the pictures the back of the Oud is shiny but not the one I got so no clear code was used for the finishing front and back. Also, the case was really soft and add no protection to the Oud.I was hoping for a better finished Oud with a better case for the price I paid, not to forget the shipping time it took over two months to receive.Thank you.
